Terms of Service

1. About TapServe

TapServe is a digital ordering and restaurant management platform operated by RiCore Technologies, a technology company registered in Ghana. These Terms of Service govern your use of the TapServe platform, including the restaurant dashboard, customer-facing menu, kitchen display, and all related services.

By creating an account or using TapServe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • One account per restaurant business. You may create sub-accounts (branches) under the Growth plan.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • RiCore Technologies reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscription Plans

Starter Plan: ₵199/month. Includes core features: menu management, digital ordering, kitchen display, and basic order history. Certain advanced features are restricted to the Growth plan.

Growth Plan: ₵399/month. Unlocks multiple branches, GRA receipts, advanced analytics, export reports, and priority support. Pricing may change with 30 days notice.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Failure to renew will revert your account to the Starter plan. No refunds are issued for partial months.

4. Payments

Payment processing is handled by Paystack (a licensed payment service provider). By accepting payments through TapServe, you agree to Paystack's terms and conditions.

  • TapServe collects a platform service fee on transactions processed through the system.
  • Restaurant owners are responsible for compliance with GRA tax obligations on sales.
  • MoMo payments are subject to network availability and telco terms.
  • TapServe is not liable for failed payments due to third-party payment processor issues.

5. Restaurant Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu, prices, and availability information.
  • You must fulfil orders placed through TapServe promptly and accurately.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any required business licences, food handling certifications, and tax registrations (including TIN).
  • You must not use TapServe for any illegal activity or to sell prohibited goods.
  • Staff PINs must be kept secure. You are responsible for all actions taken using your account credentials.

6. Intellectual Property

TapServe, its logo, and the platform software are owned by RiCore Technologies. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform. Your restaurant name, logo, and menu content remain your property.

7. Limitation of Liability

TapServe is provided “as is”. RiCore Technologies is not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue due to platform downtime or technical issues.
  • Failed or disputed customer payments.
  • Data loss due to user error or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Our maximum liability to you in any month shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in that month.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for:

  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Violation of these terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless earlier deletion is requested.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify restaurant owners by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of TapServe after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
